For months we have been planning a trauma conference that brings to Philadelphia many trauma professionals and experts who will raise awareness, provide innovative programs and yield a significant cross professional dialogue on the topic of trauma. The emphasis of this year’s conference will be to promote equitable access to high quality services for vulnerable children and their families. Lakeside is privileged to be a part of this conference and it is our understanding that 500 individuals have already registered.
Here is the basic information on the conference. For more information you can visit the website link here.
The 3rd Annual Philadelphia Trauma Training Conference: Promoting Equitable Access to High Quality Services for Vulnerable Children and Families.
This conference will include an intensive, collaborative training experience to providers, educators and leaders across health, education, and social service disciplines, as well as to community members invested in the health of their families, neighborhoods, and cities.
- Learn about programs and initiatives nationally and globally that aim to promote equitable access to services and supports for individuals, families, and communities;
- Develop and enhance skills and knowledge that can be readily applied to address negative health outcomes and health inequities; and
- Grow inter-professional skills, and emerge motivated to work collaboratively across disciplines and sectors to contribute to healthy outcomes for vulnerable children and families.
We are looking forward to a compelling and informative three days where hundreds of talented professionals will join together around this exciting conference.
