The state of our children in the world should be a growing concern for us all. To think that there are about 30 million displaced children in the world is a tragedy beyond description. Refugee children are being displaced in so many places and the need for food, clothing and emotional support for them is overwhelming. We do not have near enough refugee workers or organizations to meet the need and the numbers seem to be growing world-wide.
Traumatized Children Worldwide
As difficult as our problems are in the United States with our children and with immigration, the state of other children in the world has even more challenges that we can imagine.
I think it is helpful to have a broadened perspective on how desperate things are in other countries like 500,000+ children that have crossed the mountains from Rohingya to Bangladesh. We have been in contact with No Limit Generation and have learned about their amazing work that provides hope and help to the children and the caregivers in Bangladesh.
There is just so much to do in order to help so many traumatized children who have been beaten, abused, shot at and almost starved to death in order to escape such horrid societal conditions.
I think this YouTube video is valuably informative and says it all.

We should all, collectively as individuals within a country, rise to help children and those who care for them internationally. The need is so desperately significant. We here at Lakeside will be dialoguing about how our organization can be a part of this valuable movement of care and support for children all over the world.
