Our new landing page addresses trauma training.
Websites are always a work in progress. It is often difficult to keep up with the current trends in social media and to keep information updated. But recently, we felt it was time to launch a new training site that represents all that Lakeside provides to professionals who are interested in trauma training.
We have included facts about trauma. But more importantly, we are fortunate to have international speaker, advocate and expert Dr. Sandra Bloom provide commentary on the issues surrounding trauma and the importance of understanding the reality that so many of our social ills stem from childhood trauma. Dr. Bloom kindly comments on Lakeside’s training and its value to professionals.
You will find links to the trauma training that Lakeside offers and how to access it. Some of our courses are on-line and others can be requested live or by broadcast. We offer workshops, including our Neurologic Initiative training for schools and intensive trauma training for a deeper understanding which can lead to Trauma Competent Certification.
For regional training, if you are eligible you can register for our classes right on the site. Also, if you have questions about our training there are FAQ’s for clarity and communication. Finally, you can review some of our current projects to gain insight into the variety of organizations that we provide training to.
