Delaware Valley Association for the Education of Young Children (DVAEYC) has championed high quality early care and education for children from birth to age 8. As a leader in early childhood education in Southeast Pennsylvania, the DVAEYC organization sponsors a conference for early childhood professionals.
This year’s conference features the theme The Resilient Child. The conference will be held March 2-3 at University of Pennsylvania’s Perelman Quadrangle. Two amazing keynote speakers will present: Dr. Rosemarie Allen on Friday, and Steve Pemberton on Saturday.
Our staff from Lakeside Global Institute will be presenting comprehensive sessions and attendees will learn both the importance of trauma-informed practices in the early childhood classroom, as well as how to integrate these practices into their current work plan.
These sessions are appropriate for all audiences regardless of position or age group.
We are pleased to be a part of this regional conference and hope that every early childhood professional in our region will consider registering. These sessions are a great opportunity for furthering your capacity and skills as you care for our young children.
To learn more about the conference or to register please go to the conference website at http://www.dvaeyc.org/the-resilient-child/. This is a great opportunity to join colleagues and network with other early childhood professionals to learn and grow together.
We are hoping that this will be a great time of inspiration and encouragement to all who attend.
If you are an early childhood professional, I hope you will register and benefit from this great conference opportunity.
