Preventing Childhood Trauma and its Impact across the Lifespan: An Interprofessional Agenda for Providers, Advocates, Policy Makers, and Community Members
As we begin the summer season, once again we prepare for the Annual Philadelphia Trauma Training Conference. This 2nd Annual conference is sponsored by The Community and Trauma Counseling Program of Thomas Jefferson University and will be held on the East Falls Campus on July 23 to 25. There will also be exceptional post-conference workshops on July 24.
Here is the write-up on this year’s conference.
I have had the privilege of being on the planning committee of the conference.
There are going to be some amazing keynotes, quality trauma training, an extensive array of quality workshops from experts from all over the country, and interprofessional dialogue around the many issues on how we can create healthier communities by preventing and/or effectively treating trauma.
Last year’s conference was a huge success and set the stage for a more dynamic conference this year.
If you are interested in expanding your knowledge and skills in dealing with trauma-impacted children or adults, you should consider registering and attending this year’s conference. It will be an exceptional opportunity for personal and professional growth.
